I’ve dived straight into my next knitting project—the pattern for which I shared in my last update. This time I’m using only the leftover yarn from my previous jumper, so it has the same wonderfully soft, fine lambswool feel.

The jumper is finished finally! I think I started it in April, after Easter, so it has taken me almost three months to get it done. I’ve blocked it, to try to stretch it out a bit, and while it’s not oversized at all, it fits. The neckline is much too wid

Time is flying by. I’ll start with my knitting update as usual. It’s been slow progress in this heat, but I’m almost done with the jumper. Still a bit dubious as to whether it’s going to grow in the block wash, but we’ll find out by next week. I’m knittin

Wow it’s been a month since my last update. I’ve been away for three weeks so that adds up. I was only able to work on the jumper, which is coming along. I’m hoping it’s going to grow significantly during the block wash because it’s currently almost child

The jumper is coming along slowly. Lots of concentration is needed and good lighting to see the colours properly, so I don’t make mistakes with the ever-changing pattern. The jumper is turning out a bit smaller than I expected, but I can’t try it on yet.

This new jumper will probably be one of the longest, most intricate jumpers I’ve done. I’ve been working on it a lot, but so far I’m still on the yoke section. The wool is so thin and delicate, it’s almost going to be just an ornamental jumper.

The blue jumper is finished as the second sleeve is done. I’m happy with how it turned out. The washing and blocking process gave it a little extra stretch, so it fits nicely. I’m hoping it will be a good staple for the winter.
