This week has been travel central. Started off the weekend to Tuesday in Belgium. That was a nice few days chilling with family, cleaning the sheep wool. I also took a bunch of cuttings from Hydrangea plants that my parents have here.

This week I’ve been thinking about redesigning this blog. Initially I had some ideas of adding pages to it, for example a project planning page, which would be a table view of the projects I’m planning, projects I have done etc. Filterable would be great.

Over the weekend we walked around a few cute little villages around where we’re staying. We found a French clothing shop called Fragronad, which had some really nice clothes.

This week was week the first of two weeks away in the South of France, so things are more low key on the craft front. I’ve taken with me the jumper I’m going to remake for my partner, but in a smaller size.

Over the weekend I decided to agree with the offer the seller’s land agent suggested. Negotiating hasn’t got me very far and I do just want the piece of land.

Last weekend I went to see the piece of land I found of about 3.5 acres. It’s commutable from where I live (35-40 minutes). Really nice area.

The weekend started with a visit to my niece and nephew. It was quite a rainy day so we played inside for a bit, then went to the local high street to have a coffee and read some books in the library.

This week I mostly worked on the massive crochet blanket. Its taken a few weeks already and I’ve been working on it pretty intensely. I’ve done the main inner square, now its the outer motifs and then the final border. But still will take a while!
